The COVID-19 palliative distribution was a response to the global pandemic caused by the coronavirus, which has led to unprecedented disruptions worldwide, leaving vulnerable communities in urgent need of support. In this critical moment, the Abdullahi Bashir Haske Foundation (ABHF), a humanitarian organization, recognized that meeting these needs could not rest on government efforts alone. In response, ABHF, in partnership with Murmushi (PDF), launched a large-scale Covid-19 palliative distribution initiative where food items were distributed to 10776 Households across all the 226 political wards in Adamawa State. This project specifically targeted the most vulnerable populations, those hit hardest by the lockdown and economic slowdown, offering vital relief and hope during one of the most challenging periods in recent history. The COVID-19 palliatives project was a huge success, as all the targeted populations were reached. The beneficiaries appreciated the intervention as it came when they needed it the most. Daily Trust↗
