Community Peace and Safety Partnership (CPSP)

introduction

The Community Peace and Safety Partnership (CPSP) is a project by the British Council in Northern Nigeria, in partnership with Murmushi People’s Development Foundation (MPDF) and funded by the EU. MPDF is implementing the project in four LGAs of Adamawa State: Mubi North, Mubi South, Hong, and Michika.

The CPSP team includes 25 key stakeholders from various groups. The goal is to strengthen community-led efforts in resolving local conflicts before they escalate. By improving early warning and early response systems, the project aims to boost peace, security, and stability in communities across the northeast.
