Project Goals
To combat malnutrition among children and vulnerable households in Adamawa State through the formulation and promotion of a highly nutritious, locally produced pap
Project Activities
To develop a nutritious pap using 100% locally available grains and legumes.
To promote local food security solutions by sourcing ingredients from community farmers.
To raise awareness on hygiene, safe food preparation, and balanced diets for child and maternal health.
To train households on proper preparation and feeding techniques to improve child nutrition outcomes.
Key Achievements
Successfully formulated and produced 50 packs of nutritious pap using locally sourced ingredients.
Distributed the pap to 50 vulnerable households across Adamawa State.
Conducted training sessions on hygienic preparation and effective feeding practices.
Increased awareness of local, sustainable solutions to malnutrition and food insecurity.
Beneficiary households reported visible improvements in children’s health and energy levels.
Created a replicable community-based nutrition model adaptable for wider use in other regions.
