The Good Governance unit of Murmushir People’s Development Foundation is one of the Murmush’s three 3 thematic areas which is aimed at supporting and complementing efforts of Governments in implementing their programs to achieve Good Governance, which will lead to peaceful coexistence for a better livelihood.

Among multitude of ways we are supporting the Adamawa State Government meet the need of its people include but are not limited to areas of Health, Social Accountability, Public procurement, and actualization of the Criminal Justice Act. And Rule of Law.

In areas of Health, we have been engaged in advocacies that will better the Common man access Basic health services, our Organization has been in the forefront in seeing that Adamawa State attained all conditions for its to be able to access to the Federal Government’s Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF). In light of this, we have been in touch with the Commissioner Adamawa State Ministry of Health, the management of National Health Insurance Scheme NHIS here in Adamawa, the State Social Health Insurance Agency, SSHIA, Adamawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency ASPHCDA, the Labour unions, in the interest of our various Communities, we have also worked with the British Council. In areas of social Accountability, we are in partnership with the Governance Component of the German Agency for International Cooperation (Deutsche Gesellschaft Fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit) GIZ Yola
