CSOs Empowerment Adamawa State

Project overview

Murmushi People’s Development Foundation  implemented a capacity-strengthening initiative to empower three local civil society organizations (CSOs) in Adamawa State — Zireenza Support Foundation (ZSF), Touch a Heart Social and Economic Right Initiative (TAHSERI), and Assured Better Life Initiative (ABLI). Through targeted coaching and mentoring on strategic planning and project cycle management, the project built sustainable institutional capacity, promoted gender inclusion, and enhanced accountability. Over four months, MPDF conducted 48 intensive coaching sessions, enabling CSOs to develop strategic plans, adopt gender-sensitive policies, and enhance their capacity to design and manage impactful community projects. The intervention also established the Murmushi Knowledge Sharing Hub, a digital peer-learning platform that fosters collaboration, continuous engagement, and shared growth among CSOs across the state.
