Project Goals
To reduce hunger and vulnerability among Almajiri (street) children affected by poverty and displacement in Mubi North, Adamawa State, through a consistent and nutritious feeding program.
Key Achievements
Successfully provided over 2,400 nutritious meals to 100 Almajiri children across a six-month period.
Ensured safe, hygienic, and orderly meal distribution every Friday.
Conducted interactive sessions on hygiene, safety, and the importance of education.
Reduced hunger-related illnesses and the exposure of children to street survival risks.
Strengthened community trust in MPDF and promoted shared responsibility for child welfare.
Gained recognition from parents, guardians, and community leaders for reducing child begging and promoting protection.
Reinforced MPDF’s role as a reliable humanitarian actor committed to resilience building and advocacy for vulnerable groups.
