Education infrastructure library renovation

As part of its education infrastructure support initiative, the Murmushi People’s Development Foundation (MPDF) renovated classrooms across four schools in Gombi, Michika, Mubi North, and Madagali Local Government Areas of Adamawa State.

During post-project monitoring, MPDF discovered that one of the renovated classrooms in a primary school in Gombi. Had been transformed into a functional school library. The space now provides pupils with a quiet place for reading and studying, an improvement initiated by the school community itself.

In Mubi, Michika, and Madagali, previously abandoned and non-functional classrooms have also been renovated. And put back into active use, creating safer, more conducive learning environments for children who previously studied under difficult conditions.

These successes demonstrate the effectiveness of MPDF’s interventions. As well as the ownership and commitment shown by beneficiary communities. The transformation of these educational infrastructures into active learning spaces underscores the lasting impact of the organization’s work. It will enhance access to quality education and revitalize community assets across Adamawa State.
